I like this game!
Then I remember it's just a game for me and I'm sad.

This , and spend the other $2,000 on body work. It's been taunting me for the past month on my local CL. I wants it badly.

All it needs is surgery to cut out the cancerous metal and I'm sure it'd be as good as new.

Nice! I think I'd try to ditch those wheels for some stock 5 spokes.

I'm torn between having a blue twin to the Montego, a 68 Ford Torino with 302 V8.

and going in a completely different direction (this thing is BADASS looking):

I got a 10 grand bonus once, went on ebay and bought a Volvo 242DL in chicago. Flew out and drove it home.

Probably water damage. I'd find some nice old burled walnut and have replacements made.
Edit: this is a rarer model with the floor-shift. The next year they went with column shifting.

If the Hudson pickup is still up on local CL, that. Failing that, probably a 70s Lincoln, because reasons.

I would put it aside til I buy a house next spring, then use it + $4000ish to buy a C4 like this
![]() 04/10/2014 at 15:39 |

Agreed. Also, I don't think I'd hold on to the car for very long, perhaps enjoy it for a summer. I just can't see myself owning a Camaro long-term, lol.

those are great cars my grandparents have a 91 Z drop top. Only mod I strongly suggest is subframe connectors the body is full of flex stock

This might seem a bit cheesy, but I'd get C3 Corvette. Why? It's my wife's favorite car, the Stingray. I'm still figuring out how to at least let her ride in one.

Thanks for a fun diversion in the workday afternoon! I'd go for this: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/440519
I really want a COE, drop in a diesel, restore/upgrade and use as hauler to/from High Plains Raceway for my Z.

A 3k$ Miata. Use the rest to get it back in shape mechanically and with any leftover, put it in the piggy for a TARBO.
In all honesty though, I'd prolly order a shitload of stuff for my 9000.
Quaife LSD: ~1000$
3" exhaust: ~ 1100$
Headers: ~300$
Holset HX35 TARBO: ~300$
Assorted stuff you need to mount it all (incl. tools): ~500$
Remap: ~300$
I guess that leaves me 2.5k for a Miata? :D Or suspension work, but I really wanna track down some Φhlins stuff for the 9000. Just the name gives me a stiffy. Mmmm.
